Operated by volunteers of Stephenville Historical Society
Stephenville Regional Museum is operated by volunteers of Stephenville Historical Society. It showcases the history of the Bay St. George and surrounding areas and the Ernest Harmon Air Force Base (1941–1966). Our history is illustrated with a fantastic, eclectic collection of artifacts that provides a glimpse into the life of the early settlers in the Bay St. George Region.
Our museum has something for everyone: genealogical section, photo albums, on-screen digital photos, Ernest Harmon Air Force Base section (1941 to 1966), Aboriginal section, French Ancestry section, old school room exhibit/Health Care exhibit, heritage kitchen, bedroom, and parlour, collection of choral memorabilia, monthly featured exhibits and presentations by various artists, musicians, and historians.
