Founded by Veterans and for Veterans

Our mission is to serve Veterans, including serving military and RCMP members and their families, to promote Remembrance, and to serve our communities and our country.

We advocate for the care and benefits for all who served Canada and we provide representation and assistance to Veterans, including currently serving Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP, and their families.

The Legion exists so that Canada never forgets.

Buddy Check Coffee is a Veteran run peer program offering comradeship in a relaxed environment, encouraging Veterans to network and share experiences and stories - while sipping coffee and enjoying a treat. Led by the Legion’s Operational Stress Injury Special Section (Legion OSI) and hosted by Legion members, Buddy Check Coffee is helping Veterans in their community connect and support each other.

Private and Community Events

We host many different types of events, including:

  • Business events
  • Weddings
  • Formal dinners
  • Dances and live music events
  • Comedy shows
  • Fundraisers
  • Holiday socials
  • Craft fairs
  • Community cafes

At Community Cafes we serve soup, sandwiches, tea/coffee and desert - all with a side of live music! The cafe events are free and everyone is welcome.

Book Your Event

Would you like us to host your event? Our building can accommodate 220 people maximum for a sit down event, but be warned, that is tight. More comfortable - for example, for a meal and dance - would be 180 people. We can accommodate 400 for a stand-up affair, without tables and chairs (like a meet and greet). 400 includes everyone in the building, including band, waiters, servers, etc

Anyone Can Become A Member

Legion Branches are the cornerstone of communities across Canada, and provide one of the largest volunteer bases in the country. Whether helping local Veterans, supporting seniors, providing youth sports programs, raising funds, volunteering to help those in need, or simply offering a place to gather for fun and celebration, Legionnaires provide essential services in their communities.
